Vista’s certified team has performed numerous comprehensive hazardous materials surveys at governmental facilities including military bases, airports and seaports, correctional institutions, and housing; University and K-12 level schools; and commercial facilities including hospitals, shopping centers and office buildings.

Assessments include identifying building materials and devices with asbestos, lead, universal wastes, polychlorinated biphenyls, low-level radiation, and ozone depleting and other chemicals, prior to renovation or demolition activities. Vista’s team has conducted Phase I ESA's and identified pesticide contaminated building materials and soils, USTs, and subsurface asbestos piping by historical document review and site visits.
